Delivery contract
Before commencement of a delivery, we’ll have to agree on the specifics which will be put in a contract that we both sign. Part of this contract is the quote I offered you.
It happens: you want to spend your holidays over there while your boat is over here. Sailing down or up to where you want to go (and back) would take half of your time off (or more).
I’d be happy to help you out and deliver your boat to your desired destination. I can also sail her back again so you can spend your whole vacation where you want.
I’ll take care of finding competent crew, flying them in and out again, passage planning, provisioning and of course make sure your boat is properly cleaned.
Have you just bought or sold your boat and you need a someone to bring her in or deliver her, I can help you likewise.
I can offer you a quote depending on location and mileages.

As delivery skipper, I hold an Skipper Third Party Liability Insurance for Yachts up to a maximum of 17 meters in length, including commercial use with Pantaenius Yacht Versicherungen (policy no 11704110-11)
I value complete openness about what you can expect when you want me to deliver your boat. For that reason I’d like to state that no delivery is the same. Except for one thing: an absolute deadline is out of the question! Most of the time the planned date can be met. Sometimes however, the weather (forecast) would make it unwise to press on.
As a delivery skipper, I’m responsible for the safety of crew and vessel. A responsibility I take very serious. So for me it’s always better safe than sorry.
